We work with professional paint brands available on the Luxembourg and Belgian market. The right product depends on the room (humidity, traffic, exposure), the surface and the look you want. You sign off the brand and colour before any order.

Your questions about painting.
How long does it take to repaint a room?
For a standard 12 to 18 m² room with walls and ceiling, allow 1 to 2 days depending on the state of the surfaces: preparation (filling, sanding, primer) on day one, two finishing coats afterwards. Drying time between coats (4 to 12 hours depending on the paint) is built into the schedule.
What quality of paint do you use?
We work with professional-grade acrylic and oil-based paints, rated A+ for indoor emissions. The choice of product (matt, eggshell, satin, washable, anti-damp) depends on the room and use. You confirm the brand and colour when the quote is agreed.
How do you protect furniture and floors?
We always sheet the floors, cover any furniture that can't be moved, and mask skirting boards, sockets and frames with tape. If you'd rather empty the room, that's easier; otherwise we group and protect the furniture. Everything is removed and cleaned at the end.
What if the existing paint contains lead (older buildings)?
In buildings from before 1955, older paint may contain lead. If we suspect it, we recommend a test before any sanding. Stripping lead-based paint requires a specific protocol (containment, PPE, waste handling) which will be priced in the quote or handed off to an accredited specialist depending on the situation.
Can a facade be painted during winter in Luxembourg?
No. Most facade paints require temperatures above 5 °C, moderate humidity and no rain for 24 to 48 hours. In Luxembourg, the practical season is generally late April to mid-October. We watch the weather and reschedule if needed — no compromise on durability.
Do I need to be present during the work?
No. Once the quote is approved and access is sorted (key, code or opening appointment), you can carry on with your day. We send daily photos on request and arrange a handover check at the end before invoicing.
